Welcome to the Honduras Travel Experiences Blog!

Hello,

Welcome to the Honduras Travel Experiences blog!  The purpose of this blog is to provide inspiration, share insights, planning tips, and travel ideas with people interested in visiting Honduras.  The blog entries will come from a variety of sources including proud locals interested in showcasing a feature of their hometown or region, local tour guides, Honduran travel industry entrepreneurs, and local & international travelers who have visited the country.  Every now and then, we will also include a story, of curious facts about the country, its history, its people. Honduras has a very interesting history that keeps adding new chapters everyday, to say the least 😉.  Most of you have probably never heard of Honduras, or where it is located (many people think it's an island).  If you have heard of Honduras, it is probably in a negative light; but be assured that beneath the negative press, lies an relatively undiscovered destination.  A gem with an interesting mix of history, cultures, and wild nature.

If you are not yet sold on the idea of visiting Honduras, we hope to spark your interest, and if you contact us with questions we will try to answer them in the best way possible. If you have traveled to Honduras and are interested in submitting a travel experience of your own, feel free to contact us at info@choosehonduras.com

(the email address info@choosehonduras.com is managed by Honduras Turismo y Marketing SA, a Honduran private company, created to market memorable travel experiences featuring local entrepreneurs, and specialized tour guides that are committed to sustainable practices.  If you prefer to plan and carry out your travels on your own, that is OK, feel free to send us an email for some travel tips and ideas)
